Using the Reader’s Group – How to Make the Most out of your Membership
A CWW Membership (either tier) offers you a great opportunity to market your books through the Christian Women Reader’s Club (CWRC). For a limited time, each registered CWW member (regardless of membership level) gets one free book promotion each month through CWRC.
The types of promotions available are
- Free Book
- Bargain Book ($1.99 and under)
- New Release (past 45 days)
How to make the most of these promotions.
When you submit your book through the submission form, our webmaster will schedule the post and give you a link and a date that your book will be shared on the website and social media sites.
On the date of your promotion, make sure you share the link we gave you on your own social media sites. Or you can go to the Reader’s Facebook Page and share the post directly from there.
Part of the submission form includes a spot for you to include your Twitter handle. This is so readers can connect with you through our tweet. It also makes it easy for you to retweet.
Don’t hesitate to share other books from our site with your readers (make sure the promotion is still good). Many individuals on the management team share the book posts on their own Facebook page, and retweet the @CWRCbookdeals tweets. The more we share, the more our reader subscriptions grow. This means more exposure for everyone.
Other Promotions (pricing varies according to membership)
- Review Request
- Featured Book
You can combine these promotions to increase exposure. Combine an Interview/Giveaway promotion with a New Release promotion to drum up interest in your new book. Combine a Bargain Book promotion on the date your review will be released.
(see pricing page for full details)
We will be going into more detail about how to combine these, and other membership benefits, for maximum marketing effect in future posts in this series. Remember, to market through CWRC, you must be a registered member (either basic or pro membership). Pro membership offers you more marketing benefits at no cost. However, basic membership offers cost-effective pay-as-you-go marketing options.
